[1]Town & Gown is now accepting unpublished short stories (2,000 words or less) to be considered for its February 2009 Fiction Issue. You can enter in one of four categories: Drama/Suspense, Romance with a Twist, Comedy, or One Fine Day in Happy Valley. You may enter one story per category. Stories can be emailed to dpenc@barashgroup.com [2], mailed to Fiction Contest, c/o Barash Publications, 403 S. Allen St., State College, PA 16801 or dropped off at Schlow Library. Stories must be received by October 24, 2008.
In February 2009, there will be a special event at Schlow Library featuring guest readers performing readings of the winning stories. Watch for details.
