NVWN also serves as a connecting point for local critique groups.

During September's meeting, the Nittany Valley Writers Network will offer their first "Local Resources for Writers" Night. Elaine Meder-Wilgus, owner of Webster's Bookstore Café, and Andrew Aschwanden, owner of The Squirrel and Acorn Bookstore, will discuss how their stores can help local writers.
