Winter Reading Returns in 2023!
Enjoy snuggling up with a good book or dealing with the winter blues? Set your goal. Read to win.
It's been a relatively mild winter for sure, though curling up in your sweats with a hot drink and reading a good book is always a great stress reliever.
Patrons can register at reading.schlowlibrary.org. If you participated in a previous Winter or Summer Reading Program, you can log in with your existing username and password. After registering, patrons are encouraged to set a goal for the number of books to read in two months.
Completing quests provides additional entries for the final prize drawing. Quests include Basic Reading, Reading Goal, Centre County Reads, Book Bingo, and Winter Activity.
Entering its fifth year, Schlow's Winter Reading program began this year on Monday, January 30 and continues until Thursday, March 30. Readers aged 11 years and older are invited to participate.
