Schlow has partnered with the Happy Valley Puzzle Swap group to make it easier for you to refresh your puzzle selection! We'll also have some casual puzzling tables, as well as a place for you learn how to play puzzle chess.
We'll meet in the Community Room for both the swap and the community events.

Join Flutopia Initiative flutist Dr. Cathy Herrera as she explores the joys of brass music with the PSU Graduate Brass Quintet! You´ll learn all about the trumpet, the French horn, the trombone, and the tuba, with individual demonstrations, the five instruments together, and what they sound like with a flute, of course! Meet trumpeters Antwan Hill and Noah Bauer; French horn player Hunter Horne; trombonist Gabriel Herrera; and tuba player Kevin Freeman. Their music will BLOW you away!
Schlow's new Esports Club welcomes all individuals, new and experienced, to join a community that shares a common interest in gaming. With mentorship from members and alumni of the Penn State Esports Club, teens can experience what it is like to be part of a supportive gaming community featuring casual and competitive play while gaining valuable teamwork and collaborative skills. Come to Schlow on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays (schedule permitting: any date changes will be noted on each event) to join people of all ages in these classic games of strategy and patience. This event is in partnership with Happy Valley Go Club, an official chapter of the AGA (American Go Association).
Children under 12 must be accompanied by a guardian.

A crucial asset has been captured by the Federation, and hidden away in their stronghold in Schlow’s Adult and Teen Department. Are you prepared to join the revolutionaries and save the asset? Teens, join us for an epic Nerf space battle! Registration required.
Participate in three fun chemistry demonstrations led by Chemistry graduate students from PSU. Activities will explore basic chemistry concepts and inspire kids to think and ask questions like a scientist.

Local yoga instructor, Laxmi Lauzon, shares her expertise with the community. Stop by on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month at 5:00pm to unwind after a long week at work.
This is yoga for everyone; all skill levels are welcome. Please plan to bring a yoga mat and whatever accessories you need for comfort (towel, blocks, etc.).
