Come to Schlow on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays (schedule permitting: any date changes will be noted on each event) to join people of all ages in these classic games of strategy and patience. This event is in partnership with Happy Valley Go Club, an official chapter of the AGA (American Go Association).
Children under 12 must be accompanied by a guardian.
All skill levels are welcome!
Meetings will be held in the Downsbrough Community Room, unless otherwise noted.
Join the club where comic enthusiasts discuss, draw, write, and collaborate! Whether you want to work on your own designs, get advice about what to read next, or get together with friends to work on your group artistry project, Comics Club is for you.
Meetings are hybrid: simultaneously in person and online. In-person attendance doesn't require registration. For virtual attendance, registration is required.
Join CC4H Robotics for a hands-on Hack Pack Adventure, where kids will explore Mark Rober’s new programmable robot kits and dive into the exciting world of STEM. This interactive event sparks creativity and curiosity through coding, robotics, and teamwork - perfect for budding engineers and inventors!
Enjoy needle arts like knitting, crochet, and embroidery? Join our in-person Needlework Club to spend time with others who enjoy these creative pastimes. The drop-in group welcomes all skills levels. Just grab your project bag and head to Schlow!
Who: 12+ years (no registration required!)
When: 1st and 3rd Monday of the month
David Lewis was a notorious outlaw circa 1790 to 1820. The legendary counterfeiter and robber became known as the “Robin Hood of Pennsylvania” as well as other monikers like “Lewis the Robber”, David “Robber” Lewis, and “Davey Lewis." Matt Maris of Local Historia will tell the outlaw's incredible story while sharing research methods and key findings that connect David Lewis to central Pennsylvania.
Join Schlow for an evening of fun and prizes as we host another fun bingo night! Doors open at 6:30pm.
We'll host 8 games over the night. Cards are 3 for $3, or 6 for $5 (cash preferred, please). We hope to see you there!

Interested in increasing the amount of native plants in your home and garden? Join us at this workshop, where the Pennsylvania Native Plant Society will educate us about the benefits of native plants and help attendees to start some native seeds! Seeds and materials for your starters will be provided. Supplies are limited.
